port

Mundra is a little, isolated and dusty town of Kutch district in Gujarat state of India , with the inhabitant of around 25K people. The town has its own identity because of Adani Port on its coast. If you are excited to see the sea port then wait a while, as you need to have a special permission or some sort of link inside, then only you will be able to explore it

Life in Mundra is pretty boring people don’t really have anything more to do here, most people work on the port to earn their daily bread and butter.

The closest city to Mundra is Ghandhidam which is about 60 km far away from Mundra. Adani group has made a residential colony for its workers, it’s called Shantivan. It’s a kind of worth visiting place in Mundra. It has a beautiful temple of lord Shiva with other basic facilities such as School, transportation, shopping complex etc.

As Mundra is in Kutch region of Gujarat people speak Kutchi language here, this language is different from the Gujarati language.Places to eat in Mundra are limited. If you are interested in Katywadi /Gujarati good then Prabhu Kripa Restaurant ( Near Central Bus station) is leading the list. This is run and managed by Bhavna Ben an aged lady, but the kind of food offered here is delicious with the variety of veggies and many other Gujarati items. Mundra has good accommodation facilities between Shakti Chok Circle to Zero point Circle, this includes Hotel The Fern and many other good hotels.
